Owner Scott Clarke and produce manager Blake Sharpe were praised for commitment to the local food industry.
Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Ernie Hardeman was on hand to present the honour.
"We encourage our local food marketers to put on displays and send us pictures of their displays that encourages people to buy local and encourages to buy food grown in Ontario."
The award recognizes local food retailers for their outstanding commitment to the province's food industry.
Hardeman says to be presenting the award to a local retailer made today's presentation that much more rewarding.
"When you look at the display and you look at the places where the food has come from, so much of it is really local food too so from the local growers around town and around the County."
The award is a part of the Foodland Ontario Retailer Awards, It is are the produce industry’s premier competition for excellence in retail display and promotion in supporting local Ontario foods.
