Ingersoll man gets charged with 4 different impaired driving charges.
INGERSOLL - A 46-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving after he almost hit a police cruiser.
Tuesday night, at approximately 10:00 P.M, a member of the OPP was on patrol in Ingersoll, where they had to quickly get out of the way to avoid being struck by a vehicle.
No injuries were reported and as a result, the 46-year-old resident of Ingersoll was charged with the following charges. Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Drive Motor Vehicle with Handheld Communication Device, Operation While Impaired and Operation while impaired with a Blood Alcohol Concentration of 80 plus.
The man has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at court in Woodstock on May, 12.
