The 10-year capital plan totals $88.6-million and includes $6.5-million for 2024.
INGERSOLL - The Town of Ingersoll has unveiled an $88.6-million capital plan for the next 10 years.
Looking at next year alone, the city is proposing $6.5-million total for 61 projects.
The 2024 capital plan includes $2.7-million for road reconstruction projects, $1.7-million for investments related to town facilities and equipment, $854,000 for fleet replacement, and $300,000 for sports fields, parks, and trails.
The 10-year capital plan was presented to council during a special meeting on November 20th. Director of Finance and Treasurer Iryna Koval says it was presented in two parts, covering 2024-2027, and 2028-2033.
"The Town of Ingersoll remains fully funded for capital needs through reserves and grants. This steadfast commitment to avoiding dependence on debut supports long-term financial sustainability and mitigates financial risks, positioning the Town to navigate economic uncertainties with resilience."
