Oxford MP Arpan Khanna says the Trudeau Government failed Canadians.
OXFORD COUNTY/OTTAWA - The Conservative Member of Parliament for Oxford is responding to the big announcement out of Ottawa.
Arpan Khanna released his own statement afterward, says the Trudeau government's failures have been far reaching and deeply felt across the country. He pointed to the carbon tax, the housing crisis and government spending as examples.
He adds the race to find a new Liberal Leader will cause chaos during an already trying time because we're already facing job-killing tariffs from the United States.
"Clearly, this government has failed to protect our economy, communities, and country. Canadians deserve leadership that listens to their concerns, fights to lower costs, and respects rural Canada."
He says we need a government that unites this country, prioritizes all Canadians alike, and focuses on real solutions.
"I, with my Common-Sense colleagues, will deliver real solutions to tackle crime, secure our borders, and restore safety and prosperity across the country. Together, we can ensure every farmer, small business owner, and all Canadian families can access a powerful paycheque that buys affordable food and a home in a safe neighbourhood. It's time to put Canada first and bring home a Canada that works for everyone."
