South Gate Centre is getting ready to close Local Roots at the Park for the year.
WOODSTOCK - Local Roots at the Park is closing up shop for the year.
The popular concession stand is hosting their season finale today
South Gate Centre Operations Manager Felise Jones says they will be marking the occasion with a 50 percent discount on their menu items.
"We do everything from the chicken sandwich, to our wrangler burgers, to fries, to hotdogs, to chili cheese fries and of course our Kwartha Dairy ice cream.
South Gate took over the Southside Park concession stand three years ago. Jones says the business has really blossomed since then.
"We're really finding that we get our regulars and people that make it part of their park experience. We're glad to see familiar faces and new one as always."
The profits raised go back into the seniors centre.
Local Roots will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today. It will re-open next summer.
