The 35-year-old LPS Constable was off-duty when he was charged by the Middlesex OPP.
UPDATE: The Middlesex OPP has released more information about the London Police Constable who was charged recently.
Officers say the 35-year-old from Woodstock was not only charged with operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, but also speeding 49 kilometres over the speed limit, and driving a vehicle with an open container of liquor.

LONDON - A Woodstonian who happens to work for the London Police Service has been charged with impaired driving.
London Police say the 35-year-old Constable was off-duty when he was pulled over by the OPP at around 1:30 p.m. yesterday.
He was traveling in the westbound lanes of Highway 401, close to Wonderland Road at the time.
He has been with London Police for 12 years and he will appear in a London courtroom on June 4th.
