The human remains, discovered on the Lake Erie Shoreline at Long Point last month, belonged to a missing boater from the US.
NORFOLK COUNTY - Norfolk OPP have identified the human remains discovered along the shores of Lake Erie in Long Point last month.
They belong to 59 year old Raymond Burns of New Kensington, Pennsylvania. He had previously been reported missing after a fishing boat sunk in the Ohio area in August of this year.
Foul play is not suspected and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Hunters in Long Point discovered the body on Friday October 25th and immediately contacted police.
