PARIS - Team Canada continues to win medals at the Paris Olympics.
Katie Vincent and Sloan MacKenzie have paddled to a bronze medal in the C-2 500m kayak sprint at the Paris Olympics.
This brings Team Canada's medal count to 22 with six gold, five silver, and 11 bronze. As of 7:15 a.m. today, Canada was ranked 11th in the overall medal count.
The Canadians will win at least one more medal today, after Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson battle Brazil in the women's beach volleyball final at 4:30 p.m. our time.
The Torontonians beat Switzerland 14-21, 22-20, 15-12 in semifinal play at Eiffel Tower Stadium yesterday, making them the first Canadian women's beach volleyball team to reach the Olympic podium.
