The latest Heart FM News Poll asks, would you ever consider running for municipal politics?
OXFORD - An election year is upon us in the province of Ontario.
Voters will head to the polls on Monday, October 26th this year to vote for their next municipal council.
Here in Oxford County, all of the area municipalities will be hosting a candidate information session on Thursday, March 26th for those who are interested in throwing their hat in the ring. It will provide information about the nomination process, campaign finance rules, and more. It will also feature presentations from the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and municipal consultant Nigel Bellchamber.
It will be taking place in the Council Chambers at the Oxford County Administration Building at 6:00 p.m.. Those who can't be there in person will also be able to participate online.
