NORFOLK COUNTY - Norfolk OPP are reminding residents to use caution when making a purchase from online marketplaces.
Police charged a 15-year-old today with the following crimes, robbery with violence, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, intent to endanger life or cause bodily harm, and failure to comply with an undertaking.
This incident was reported to the OPP after the victim attempted to purchase items.
If you plan on meeting up with a stranger to buy or sell items, please make sure you meet in a well-lit area. Use public places as meeting spots such as gas stations, coffee shops, or police stations.
The accused is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe on March 20.
