Testing nearly doubled and the case count is up slightly after Tuesday's record low for 2021.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 384 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 540,810.
The Province confirmed 12 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,986. Another 722 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 527,162.
The province completed 28,076 tests yesterday. We currently have 438 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 377 people in the ICU and 242 in the ICU on a ventilator. Five regions make up almost all of the COVID-19 cases today with 71 new cases in Waterloo, 60 in Peel, 54 in Toronto, 23 in Middlesex-London and 21 in Ottawa.
