OPP Briefs include multiple, separate incidents in Brant County involving impaired driving. 

BRANT COUNTY - Brant County OPP were called to a incident after a resident informed them of a vehicle on Colborne Street East.

Officers saw that the driver was impaired after responding to the incident at approximately 2:10am on March 30th.

OPP have charged a Brantford woman with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada:

- Operation while impaired by alcohol or drug Section 320.14(1)(a)
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus Contrary to Section 320.14(1) (b)

She'll appear in a Brantford courtroom at a later date. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.

BRANT COUNTY - Brant County OPP responded to a collision on East River Road after the vehicle had been involved in a previous accident in Hamilton.

Officers arrived on scene at approximately 8:20pm on March 28th, when they saw that the driver was driving while impaired.

Investigators have charged 31-year-old Matthew Mantle of Brant County with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada:

- Operation while impaired by alcohol or drug Section 320.14(1)(a)
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus Contrary to Section 320.14(1) (b)

He will appear in a Brantford courtroom at a later date to answer to his charges. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.

The accident occurred at approximately 3:50 am on March 19th, when the accident happened at Wayne Gretzky Parkway and officers found the driver was impaired while driving his vehicle.

28 year-old Cameron General of Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada:

- Operation while impaired by alcohol or drug Section 320.14(1)(a)
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus Contrary to Section 320.14(1) (b)

He will appear in a Brantford courtroom at a later date to answer to his charges. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:30am on March 18th when officers found the driver was impaired.

OPP investigators have charged 34 year-old Michael Morris of Brantford with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada:

- Operation while impaired by alcohol or drug Section 320.14(1)(a)
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus Contrary to Section 320.14(1) (b)

He will appear in a courtroom in Brantford at a later date. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.

The accident happened at approximately 1:35am on March 16th.

OPP have charged 23 year-old Dean Sowden of Haldimand County with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada:

- Operation while impaired by alcohol or drug Section 320.14(1)(a)
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus Contrary to Section 320.14(1) (b)

BRANT COUNTY - Brant County OPP have charged a man with impaired driving after responding to a collision at King Street in Burford.

During the investigation at approximately 10:50 p.m on March 15th, OPP stopped the vehicle and determined that the driver was impaired.

OPP investigators have charged 56 year-old Lorne Bruder of Brant County with Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus Contrary to Section 320.14(1) (b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

He will appear in a Brantford courtroom at a later date to answer to his charges. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.
