HALDIMAND COUNTY - The Haldimand Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a collision involving two vehicles.
Haldimand OPP and Haldimand County Paramedic Services responded to a car accident at approximately 12:57pm on March 9th.
An 80-year-old woman from Norfolk County was sitting in her parked car on Main Street when the vehicle accelerated while in reverse.

A 13 year-old boy and four year-old girl were hit. The four year-old girl was subsequently pinned underneath the vehicle and then dragged several yards before the vehicle came to a stop after colliding with a building.
The parents immediately went to their children's aid and both were rushed to a local hospital. The 4 year-old girl was then transported to a hospital in Hamilton and is currently being treated for life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was also transported to a local hospital, however she was not injured. The 13 year-old boy suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The other family members were not injured.
