Police say he is wanted after shots were fired at passing vehicles on the 401 in Mississauga this morning, no injuries reported
A warning from provincial police concerning a fugitive they consider armed and dangerous, last seen at Highway 427 and Fasken Drive.
They say someone fired several times, from a handgun, at passing vehicles at around 5 this morning on the 401 in Mississauga, near Dixie Road.
Police say the suspect then stole a vehicle from a motorist in the 401 and 410 area, and took off.
That vehicle was found a short time later abandoned on Fasken Drive in Etobicoke.
Police are looking for a black man, roughly 25 to 35 years old, 5'10, with long, braided hair to the middle of his back.
He's wearing jeans, a blue/grey t-shirt, and white and black running shoes, and a satchel on his shoulder.
Police stress to call 911 if you see him, and don't approach him.
No injuries were reported.
