If they win two games on Sunday, the Oxford Attack U-19 boys could become the second team in Oxford Attack history to qualify for the OBXL.
WOODSTOCK - Oxford Attack U-19 Men's Basketball team is on the verge of making history.
For the second time in the team's history, they could advance to the OBXL division, which is the best league in Ontario Basketball.
Head Coach Colin Halward says they just have to win two games in their seeding event in Woodstock over the weekend.
"So currently right now we sit at 4-0 and we need to win at least five games to be ranked in the top two out of the pool. With that, they would qualify into the seeding and play in OBXL which is the top province basketball division, and possibly qualify for the provincial and national tournament."
This weekend's seeding tournament will take over St. Mary's Catholic High School from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, with the Oxford Attack playing the Pelham Panthers at 9:00 a.m. and the Kitchener Vipers at 6:30 p.m.
It's free to watch and Halward is encouraging everyone to come out and support the home team!
