Oxford County Paramedic Services Local 114 will be sharing emergency safety tips on Instagram.
OXFORD COUNTY - It's Paramedic Services Week and the theme this year is Help Us, Help You.
Oxford County Paramedic Services Local 114 is going to be very active on social media over the next few days, posting videos to raise awareness. Each video will highlight a tip that could be helpful in case of an emergency.
This includes making sure your house number or rural 911 number is visible so emergency crews can find your home easily. Another video will talk about the importance of making sure your door is unlocked, your pets are locked up, and your health card and medication list are available before paramedics arrive on the scene of an emergency.
Oxford County Paramedic Services responded to over 19,000 calls last year and made over 4,000 community paramedicine visits to vulnerable, marginalized, or homebound residents.
