Police closed the eastbound lanes of Highway 403 between Oak Park Road and Paris Road this morning.
UPDATE 2: The Brant OPP say the call came in at around 12:50 a.m. and the pedestrian was hit after they entered the roadway.
The investigation is still ongoing at this time.

BRANT COUNTY - The OPP is investigating after a tractor trailer hit a pedestrian on Highway 403 in Brant County.
According to a post on the OPP West Region social media pages, officers have closed off the eastbound lanes between Oak Park Road and Paris Road for the investigation.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed this incident. They're advised to call the Brant OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
The Brant OPP first posted about the crash shortly after 3:30 a.m. today and no further details have been released since then.
