The Vets, the Braves, the Merchants, and the Trojans will host their first-round opponents in PJHL playoff action tonight.
PJHL - The PJHL playoffs continue with all four of Oxford County's Junior C hockey teams hitting the ice this weekend.
The Woodstock Navy Vets will be looking for another win when they host the Paris Titans at Southwood Arena at 7:45 p.m. tonight. The Vets shutout the Titans 5-0 at the Brant Sports Complex last night, taking a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven, first-round series. The series will return to Paris on Sunday for Game 3 with a 7:30 p.m. start time.
The Braves will try to bounce back when they host Hespeler in Game 2 of their series at 7:30 p.m. tonight. This comes after Tavistock suffered a 6-1 loss to the Shamrocks last night. Game 3 will take place in Hespeler on Sunday with a 3:30 p.m. puck drop.
The Norwich Merchants will host the Wellesley Applejacks in Game 2 of their first-round series at Nor-Del Arena at 8:00 p.m. tonight before they travel to Wellesley for Game 3 tomorrow. Norwich currently has a 1-0 lead in the series, after celebrating a 4-2 win on Wednesday.
Meanwhile in the Yeck Divison, Thamesford Trojans will host Game 1 of their first-round series against the Lucan Irish tonight. That game should begin at 7:30 p.m.
