The Ministry of Labour is investigating an accident in a grain silo in Waterloo Region that killed a 62-year-old Plattsville man.
A 62-year-old Plattsville man is dead following a workplace accident in Wilmot Township on Thursday night.
Waterloo Regional Police the man became trapped in a soy bean silo at a mill on Puddicomb Road when he tried to remove an obstruction.
Police say firefighters were able to locate the man several hours later. He had succumed to injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Ministry of Labour is investigating.
