Woodstock Police busy over the weekend
Woodstock Police were kept busy over the weekend on three separate instances.
The first happened around 2:30 Saturday morning. Police were called to an Adelaide Street home after the homeowner woke and was confronted by an unknown drunk women in her home. An unnamed 25 year old woman was arrested and charged under the Trespass to Property Act.
The second happened around 9:30 Saturday evening when a citizen called about a potential impaired driver on Beachville Road coming into Woodstock. 66 year old Frederick Wellar of Ingersoll is facing an impaired driving charge.
The third happened around 11:30 Sunday morning when police were conducting radar and clocked a Honda Civic driving 110km in a 50 zone. A 19 year old is now facing a racing charge. Police have not released his name.
