The Oxford County Community Health Centre is hosting a Porch Pick-UP Food Drive in Woodstock on Wednesday for the Salvation Army Food Bank.
WOODSTOCK - The Oxford County Community Health Centre is hosting a Porch Pick-UP Food Drive in Woodstock on Wednesday.
They will come to your house and pick up food donations from your front porch, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. You can let them know you plan on taking part by calling ahead and leaving a message with your address at 519-539-1111 ext 238. You can also send them an email at kst.pierre@oxchc.ca
All of the items collected will be donated to the Salvation Army Food Bank in Woodstock.
Here is a list of items they could really use:
- canned meat
- canned fruits
- canned tomatoes
- tomato sauces
- canned pastas
- side kicks
- peanut butter and jams
- coffee and teas
- sugar and baking items
- personal care items like body wash, shampoo, deodorant and feminine hygiene
Please place your donated items in a plastic bag on your front porch and the OCCHC team will make sure they get donated to the Salvation Army.
