Porter Airlines will resume flights within Canada and the U.S in September.
The company has announced a return to the skies on September 8th.
The initial group destinations will be within Canada, and they include Toronto, Halifax, Moncton, Quebec City, Montreal, St. John's, Ottawa and Thunder Bay.
The airline also notes that flights to some U.S destinations, including New York, Boston, Chicago and Washington, will resume on September 17th.
About 500 staff members will return to work when the first set of flights are introduced, and the company says more employees will be brought back as more destinations return to the schedule.
The company also says all flights purchased by July 20th for travel through December 15th, 2021, will be fully refundable with no fees.
