"Well we are going to hit our targets first, we aren't going to set a certain date of August 6th."
Premier Ford is not ready to announce plans for life after Stage 3.
He was asked today if the Province will move out of Stage 3 on August 6th.
"Well we are going to hit our targets first, we aren't going to set a certain date of August 6th. We want to see as many people get vaccinated as possible."
Ford says people are still getting first doses.
"What really excites me is when I still see people coming for the 1st doses. We are averaging about 14,000 a day for 1st doses. Whenever we hit those main targets and we will hit them, honestly in a couple of weeks, maybe sooner."
Ford says we need to see 75% of eligible people fully vaccinated before loosening any further restrictions. He also doesn't want to see any public health unit in the Province under 70 percent.
