Local realtors and volunteers will be picking up donations between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
OXFORD COUNTY - It's the first Wednesday in May, so local realtors will be hitting the streets for the 14th annual Realtors Care Food Drive!
They will be collecting donations in Woodstock, Ingersoll, Tillsonburg, Sweaburg, Embro, and Innerkip between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 pm. this evening. They have already left yellow door hangers on all of the homes they will be visiting, and all you have to do is leave your donation in a box or a bag out front. It's also recommended that you leave the yellow door hanger on your front door, to show that you have a donation ready for pickup.
All of the donations are going to Salvation Army Food Bank in Ingersoll, Helping Hand Food Bank, Operation Sharing and Seniors in Food Crisis.
This is hosted by the Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg and Area Association of Realtors. Tammy Betzner called the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Thursday May 1st to talk about it and you can listen to the full interview below:
