Ernie Hardeman asking how much of the Rural Economic Development money was given to four businesses in the GTA
Local MPP Ernie Hardeman is calling on Premier Kathleen Wynne to explain how much Rural Economic Development money was given to businesses in the Greater Toronto Area.
According to Hardeman, back in September, Wynne, who is also the Minister of Agriculture and Food announced the Rural Economic Fund, which is designed to help strengthen rural Ontario, would grant money to four companies in Woodbridge, Toronto and Markham.
Hardeman asked months ago for the funding amount and was just recently sent a letter which once again did not have the funding amount enclosed.
Hardeman says the government shouldn't be supporting a downtown Toronto business at the expense of our small towns.
