A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the region.
A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the counties of Oxford and Brant and most of the region.
Environment Canada says we could be in for a severe thunderstorm this afternoon and we might also be in for strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain. Heavy rain can cause flash floods and strong winds can toss loose objects and damage trees and weak buildings.
Lightening has also been known to kill and injure Canadians every year, so when thunder roars make sure to head indoors.
