The two cases were reported out of Elgin County on April 9th, occurring in West Elgin and Southwold, bringing the region's total number of confirmed cases to 29 with 21 ongoing, six resolved and two deaths.
OXFORD COUNTY - Two cases of COVID-19 were recently confirmed by Southwestern Public Health.
As of yesterday morning, both cases came from West Elgin and Southwold in Elgin County on April 9th.
There are now 29 culminative confirmed cases in the region with 21 confirmed cases that are ongoing. SWPH also has six resolved cases and two deaths.
Elgin County has 13 confirmed cases in total while Oxford county has six. Woodstock is among the cities who have one case.
They say one confirmed case that was previously resolved was moved back to confirmed and is ongoing after one person's symptoms returned.
SWPH has tested 700 cases with 181 still pending and 490 coming back negative. You can visit here to see the latest numbers and information.
Meanwhile the Province confirmed 478 new cases yesterday morning, bring the total number of cases in Ontario to 6,237 with 222 deaths and 2,574 resolved.
