An Ingersoll man is facing a slew of charges after a police chase this morning. It started at 10:45 this morning when a Chevy Cavalier squealed its tires infront of the Ingersoll OPP detachment. Police pursued the vehicle, but gave up the chase due to safety concerns. However, police say they were later able to located the suspect vehicle and driver in downtown Ingersoll. 45-year-old Michael Keenan of Ingersoll was arrested and faces a total of 8 charges: -Dangerous Operation ? Motor Vehicle -Flight from police officer -Driving while Disqualified -Obstructing/Resisting a Peace Officer -Mischief Under $5000 Keenan has also been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with: -Driving a motor vehicle not equipped with an approved ignition interlock device while prohibited from doing so -Racing a motor vehicle -Stunt Driving The male is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
