A few people in St. Mary's didn't get the memo about dangerous water conditions this weekend. OPP were called to "The Flats" in St. Mary's Sunday afternoon on a report of two boats in the Thames River, on rough waters. The two boat operators, realizing that the waters were too rough had alreday brought their boats ashore as police arrived. Police say two 31-year-old men, one from Stratford, on from St. Mary's were spoken to about the danger they were placing themselves, and their passengers in. They had a 28-year-old woman, and three kids, aged two, five and eight in the boats with them. Authorities continue to remind local residents that water conditions are dangerous at this time, and should be avoided.
