Oxford OPP have now charged a total of eight people with stunt driving this week, after catching two drivers on Wednesday and three drivers on Thursday.
UPDATE: An additional three drivers were charged Thursday, making it a total of eight people charged this week for stunt driving. All vehicles were travelling in excess of 150km/h on Hwy#401.
A 46 year old from British Columbia, a 62 year old from Belle River, and a 25 year old Chatham where charged with Race a Motor Vehicle and their vehicles were impounded for 7 days.
WOODSTOCK - Oxford OPP issued two more racing charges on the 401 near Woodstock on Wednesday.
This is the fourth and fifth racing charge they have issued on that stretch of highway this week. Police say they clocked the driver, a 38 year from Hamilton doing 160 km/h in the poster 100-km/h zone.
Later that afternoon they clocked a 34 year old driver from Milton doing over 150 km/h on the highway near Woodstock.
Both drivers had their vehicle towed from the scene and licence suspended for 7 days.
