Wanted man from London facing charges in Oxford County
A London man is facing a long list of charges following his arrest at an Ingersoll hotel.
Oxford OPP say 31 year-old Timothy Hammer was wanted on an outstanding warrant from London Police and is now facing an additional 15 charges for a crime spree that brought him to Ingersoll.
During the arrest, Oxford police say they recovered a 2004 Toyota Sienna van which was reported stolen from London on March 2nd.
A further investigation revealed that the suspect had a number of stolen items from properties in London and Stratford including licence plates, a GPS unit, hockey stick, sunglasses and an assortment of personal items
On top of the charges from London Police, Hammer was slapped with the additional Criminal Code offences of Theft Under $5,000, Theft of Motor Vehicle, Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000 and 10 counts of Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000. Police also discovered the suspect had cocaine which lead to a Possession of a Controlled Substance charge along with Failing to Comply with an Undertaking.
Hammer was taken into police custody and held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
