We could learn new information about what education looks like moving forward for schools in the province today. Education Minister Stephen Lecce will be a part of today's briefing at 1 p.m.
TORONTO - Ontario Premier Doug Ford will address the province today on the COVID-19 pandemic as usual, however, Education Minister Stephen Lecce will be joining him, alongside Health Minister and Deputy Premier Christine Elliott, who typically also attends the daily briefing.
It was only a few days ago that Lecce announced that publicly-funded schools in the province would be closed until at least May 31st. Students have not seen the inside of a classroom since before March Break.
The news conference is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at Queen’s Park.
