Police say they caught two people with over $30,000 worth of stolen goods from a home in Norwich Township.
NORWICH - Two people have been arrested for breaking into a detached garage in Norwich Township.
Police say the garage on Highway 2 was broken into on Wednesday and the thieves stole $30,000 worth of power tools, a riding lawn mower and a single axle trailer. Police caught up with the two suspects early Thursday morning after responding to a report of suspicious activity on Second Concession Road in Brant County. Police say they were able to recover all of the stolen property and arrested two people.
32-year-old Michael Bois of Cambridge and 23-year-old Carly TUFF have been charged with Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000.
The female was released on a Promise to Appear to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on a future date to answer to her charges. The male is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
