The CASS Knights are set to take on Glendale for some Thursday Night Lights Football action in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - The College Avenue Knights football team is set to play the Glendale Gemini tonight in Woodstock under the lights.
The Knights Head Coach Ryan Stafford expressed how the team enjoys the always energetic crowd.
"The good thing about having night games here at CASS is that the kids really appreciate all the fan support, the teachers and the community that come out to watch. Generally we have about 1,00 fans that come out to watch these games."
Stafford says the CASS teams are going through a bit of a rebuild this year.
"I'm really excited for our junior program where we have strength in numbers, where there's about 40 junior's playing. We had an exhibition game last week against the Ingersoll juniors and they had a great showing winning 33 - 6. We're working hard everyday in practice for them and their shaping up pretty well. We had about 15 seniors graduate from last year's championship team, so we are in a little bit of a rebuilding faze and that means we are practicing everyday and hopefully getting better."
Anyone is welcome to come cheer on CASS as Junior games are at 6 p.m Thursday while senior games are shortly after at 8 p.m.
