Police noticed a vehicle that was driving with stolen licence plates early Sunday morning.
THAMES CENTRE - A Tillsonburg woman is facing a laundry list of charges in Thames Centre.
The Automated Licence Plate Recognition system notified the Middlesex OPP about a licence plate that was potentially stolen early Sunday morning.
Turns out they were, so officers used a tire deflation device to stop the vehicle in question at the corner of Elgin Road and Catherine Street. Police say the driver tried to take off on foot from there, but was eventually arrested.
The charges against the 26-year-old woman include operation while impaired by drugs, operation while prohibited under the criminal code, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of an identity document, possession of an article stolen from mail, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and obstructing a licence plate.
She's also facing one count of failure to comply with probation, one count of failure to comply with a release order, and one count of failure to apply for a permit on becoming an owner.
