Much like the television show, the Amazing Race is hitting the streets of Tillsonburg this Saturday.
TILLSONBURG - There is a race in the streets of Tillsonburg for a good cause this Saturday.
The Tillsonburg Amazing Race is returning with all new challenges.
Event Coordinator Jason Kane explains how the Tillsonburg edition of the TV show race will operate.
"They go to the different businesses and they will have to do either a physical or a mental challenge at each location in order to get the next clue. They start at 9, and it usually goes, hopefully until around 5 o'clock. All the proceeds go towards the Helping Hand Foodbank."
Kane also revealed where the first clue is located.
"We're starting the race at Coronation Park in Tillsonburg and there's a frisbee golf area. So that will be their first challenge. When they start they'll have a number, and they'll have to go to that hole and they'll have to use the frisbee and get it into the actual hole to get their next clue. From there they start the race off."
Registration is still open for those interested and all proceeds goes towards the Helping Hands Food bank. You can find more information online here.
