Two Township of Norwich staff have been let go from their respective positions.
TOWNSHIP OF NORWICH - Changes regarding staff are being made in the Township of Norwich.
Effective today, both former Chief Administrative Officer, Lee Robinson, and former Chief Building Official, Brad Smale are no longer employed by the Township. James Johnson, the Treasurer/Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, will take over CAO duties until the Council appoints a new person for the role. As for the Chief Building Official, Dirk Kramer will assume the duties of the Building Department until someone is appointed to the role.
Mayor, Jim Palmer shares his thoughts regarding the news.
“On behalf of Council and Administration, we extend our thanks to Ms. Robinson and Mr. Smale for their service, and wish them the best in their future endeavours. Township Council has a number of priorities for the coming year and looks forward to continuing to build our community. The recent staff changes are a result of Township Council moving in a different direction with Senior Leadership in order to support these priorities,”
