Drivers in Ingersoll will see improvements to traffic flow at one major intersection.
INGERSOLL - The Town of Ingersoll will be seeing some improvements in traffic flow.
Work is scheduled for next Tuesday at the intersection of Ingersoll Street South and Underwood Road. Improvements include removing the separate northbound and southbound traffic movements and adding an advanced left turn/through movement for northbound traffic when required. Traffic signal timing will also include time-of-day programming for improved traffic flows during CAMI shift changes. The northbound shared through/left turn lane will only be changed to a dedicated through lane. Lane configuration signs will be installed before the intersection for northbound traffic. “New” signs will be installed to indicate lane designations and traffic signal operations changes.
Updates on this project can be found on the Oxford County website.
