Three unique and interactive experiences are now on display at the Woodstock Art Gallery.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Art Gallery is looking to offer some exciting exhibits this week for March Break.
Three unique and interactive experiences are now on display ranging from 'Avian Cyborgs' to a mother-daughter collaboration.
The exhibits include:
- Terry Graff: Avian Cyborgs, which showcases paintings, collages, and sculptures exploring the relationship between nature and technology.
- I Am…….. Driven by Colour, an interactive installation made primarily with cardboard and other reclaimed materials.
-Inspired by… Mother and Daughter, where Irma Makariunaite’s mixed media artwork with geometric paintings and fibre artwork by her late mother, Rita Giedre-Buolva Forrest.
Visitors will have the chance to meet Makariunaite on Wednesday, March 13 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with more opportunities to meet the artist scheduled for March 28, April 11, April 25, May 9, May 23, June 6, and June 18.
Families in search of things to do during March Break can also drop by on Wednesday, March 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for free art activities.
The art gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Full details on their programs and exhibits can be found on their website.
