Police charged a 33-year-old from London and a 33-year-old from Mississauga Friday night.
INGERSOLL - What started out as a crash investigation ended with weapons-related charges laid against two people.
Oxford OPP officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Culloden Road Friday night.
Officers arrested and charged two 33-year-olds, one from Mississauga and one from London. They were both charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The Mississauga resident was also charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, careless use of a firearm or ammunition, unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm, possession of a prohibited device or ammunition, and three counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.
No one was hurt and the investigation is still ongoing at this time.
