Don't plan on taking the 401 through Woodstock tonight! East and westbound lanes will be closed for 16 hours starting this evening.
WOODSTOCK - Expect major delays on Highway 401 in Woodstock tonight and tomorrow morning.
Both the eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed for 16 hours starting tonight at 6:00 p.m. until 10 a.m. tomorrow. Construction crews will be demolishing the bridge at the Norwich Avenue overpass.
Traffic will be rerouted through the Highway 59 interchange ramps. Norwich Avenue will also be closed during the work from Juliana Drive to Old Stage Road.
The work is part of the ongoing project to make improvements to the Highway 401 and Highway 59 interchange. This project is currently scheduled to be completed by November 2018.
