A woman in Thames Centre was pronounced dead after seemingly drowning Friday. Around 4:30pm, emergency services responded to a farm on Heritage Road just south of Elginfield Road. A lone, 49-year old woman appeared to have drowned in a river at the rear of the farm. Despite efforts to perform CPR, she could not be revived. Her name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. A post mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
