The Woodstock Fanshawe College campus was one of four campuses that held fall open houses on Saturday.
WOODSTOCK - Fanshawe College's Woodstock campus held it's first ever fall open house. Nearly 200 prospective students and parents were expected to have shown up to check out programs offered at the microcampus. The Woodstock campus was one of 4 Fanshawe campuses fall open houses across Southwestern Ontario. The London campus was expecting around 5000 participants. Attendees had the opportunity to chat with program coordinators and faculty regarding any questions they had about programs that were offered.
Chair of Woodstock Oxford Regional Campus, Donna Derer says they offer a variety of programs, some specific to the Woodstock campus.
"Our business entrepreneurship and management program you need to come here, heating refrigeration and air condition technician and hairstlying are all Woodstock specific programs."
They aren't the only options though, said Derer. "We have 8 full time post-secondary programs...everything from police foundations, business, personal support worker, pre-health science and nursing."
Prospective students had the opportunity to speak with current students and alumni about their experience at the campus.
