A 50-year-old man from Woodstock is facing impaired driving charges after his breath samples registered over two and a half times over the legal limit Sunday night.
WOODSTOCK - Charges have been laid after the OPP tipped off the Woodstock Police Service about a possible impaired driver over the weekend.
The driver was spotted heading towards Woodstock at around 11:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Woodstock Police officers found the vehicle in the Mill Street and Juliana Drive area about a half hour later. Officers say it was swerving and driving without lights at the time.
They pulled the vehicle over and collected breath samples from the driver, who blew over two and a half times over the legal limit.
A 50-year-old man from Woodstock has been charged with driving while impaired and driving with a blood alcohol concentration over 80.
