Woodstock Police Briefs

Briefs include a woman charged with mischief at Sudzee's Car Wash earlier this morning and police are investigating 7 different thefts in the Friendly City over the weekend. Someone even stole a Lil Tykes bicycle wagon on Finkle Street.

WOODSTOCK - It has been a busy week for the Woodstock Police and it's only Tuesday.

Officers ended up charging a woman early this morning near the Sudzees Car Wash. Police were originally called about a suspicious man and woman in the car wash bays. When they arrived, they noticed damage to the coin machines. After investigating they arrested the woman on charges of mischief and possession of break in instruments.

Police are investigating several thefts in the Friendly City over the weekend. 

On Friday, police were called about a bicycle trailer that was stolen from a home on Finkle Street. It was taken sometime between Wednesday and Friday of last week. The trailer is a Lil Tykes and is red and white in colour. 

The front and rear licence plates of a 2013 Ford COF was stolen from a vehicle on Springbank Ave on Friday night. Brant County OPP later found the plates on a stolen vehicle in their jurisdiction. 

Later that night, a 2014 Grey Suzuki D6E motorcycle was taken from a home on Mill Street in the City of Woodstock. The next morning, the owner of the bike confronted a man who was walking with his motorcycle after finding it in a nearby park. Damage to the motorcycle is estimated at $1500.00. No charges laid at this time.

Police are also investigating after several pieces of wood were stolen from a construction site over the weekend. A black Dodge Ram pickup truck was spotted in the area at the time of the theft and was last seen heading west on Meadow Wood Lane in the City of Woodstock. A male suspect is involved in the theft. The property was later recovered in the area of Cowan Park. 

Police are investigating after a black 1993 Kawasaki Ninja 500CC motorcycle was taken from a driveway on Henry Street in the City of Woodstock. The motorcycle is described as having a grey tank and there is a blue halo around the front headlamp.
