In the past 48 hours, police have responded to a number of significant incidents involving fentanyl overdoses.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police would like to inform the public on the amount of fentanyl overdoses recently.
Police said in a media release last night they have responded to a significant number of incidents over the last 48 hours involving fentanyl overdoses in the Friendly City.
After seizing the substances, they say fentanyl is either green or blue, extremely toxic and causes an immediate overdose.
Woodstock Police are encouraging public safety and awareness on this issue. They ask that you please be aware and if you suspect an overdose has occurred, contact 911.
