OPP conducted a traffic stop after receiving a traffic complaint about a driver being impaired while travelling on highway 402 in the Township of Plympton-Wyoming. She is scheduled to appear in a Sarnia courtroom at a later date.
PLYMPTON-WYOMING - A 43 year-old Woodstock woman has been charged with impaired driving following a traffic stop in the Township of Plympton-Wyoming.
Lambton County OPP responded to the incident on August 13th at approximately 10:45 p.m, when they received a traffic complaint on Highway 402 regarding an impaired driver.
OPP found the vehicle 20 minutes later and initiated a traffic stop.
While speaking with the driver, she was showing signs of being under the influence and she was arrested and brought to the Middlesex OPP detachment for a drug test.
She has been charged with Operation While Impaired - Alcohol and Drugs, pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada.
She is scheduled to appear in a Sarnia courtroom at a later date.
