Charlotte Sangers would like to raise $3,000 for Cassie & Friends through her charity yard sale, bake sale, and lemonade stand on Sunday.
WOODSTOCK - A young Woodstonian is about to host her charity yard sale once again.
Charlotte Sangers is 11 years old, and she has been hosting a charity yard sale, bake sale and lemonade stand for the past three years. Her mother Marissa Sangers says all of the money goes to Cassie & Friends.
"So Cassie & Friends does connection, support, education, and research. Their ultimate goal is to find a cure for juvenile arthritis so there aren't children struggling."
This cause hits close to home for the Sangers family because Charlotte was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis when she was three years old.
The yard sale will be taking place at 816 John Street in Woodstock this Sunday morning from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Charlotte was able to raise close to $2,000 last year, so she would like to raise $3,000 this year.
All of the funds will be added to her team fundraising total for the Run/Walk for Juvenile Arthritis in London on September 29th. Her team is called Charlotte's Superstars and they would like to raise a grand total of $15,000 before the event. You can donate online here.
