The Woodstock Police Service will be honouring the life of fomer Chief Joe Moses after he passed away on Monday.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police Service is dealing with a loss of a former chief.
Joe Moses passed away on Monday, and served on the Police force for 35 years where he retired holding the role of Police Chief. Current Police Chief, Rod Wilkinson shares his thoughts.
"I has spoken with some previous members in the last day who worked with him. What they told me was that he was a kind and compassionate person."
Wilkinson mentions the Woodstock Police will be paying their respects.
"We will have representation at the funeral on Saturday, and we will have a new police cruiser there representing Chief Moses."
A Masonic Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, followed by a Funeral Service in the chapel of the Brock and Visser Funeral Home to honour the life of Moses.
