The Ontario government has announced a heavy blow for the region. They say Caterpillar Inc. has announced the closure of the Electro-Motive plant in London. There's no timeline on when the shut-down will happen. Some 450 workers have been locked out of the plant since January 1st after they were asked to take major concessions to their wages and benfits.
